Animal Shelter Volunteer Day with Nashville Animal Advocacy

Please join us for a volunteer day at Crossroads Cat Cafe's animal care center! We will meet with the animal care team and to learn about their adoption program as well as additional opportunities to get involved.

WHEN: Saturday, August 22, 2026, 10am-2pm

WHERE: Crossroads Cat Cafe, 1603 Buchanan St, Nashville, TN 37208

We plan to pressure wash, sanitize dog kennels, and otherwise help with chores around the facilities, so please wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty as well as closed-toed shoes.

We will also be making "Go Home Bags" for dogs and cats so children and others who are unable to do manual labor can still help out. :)

A vegan lunch will be provided. Feel free to bring a yummy vegan creation of your own for everyone to enjoy.

You are also welcome to bring (or donate in advance if you cannot attend) items for the dogs' "Go Home Bags." We are looking for these items:
- leashes
- Collars for dogs
- Toys for dogs and cats
- Treats
- Poop bags
- Cat nip
