What we collect
When you become a member we collect your name, email address, and — if you choose to verify it — your mobile phone number, along with the profile details you add (bio, photo, interests). We use this to run your membership, send event info you asked for, and help the crew recognize you at meetups.
Mobile opt-in information
If you opt in to our text program, we use your mobile number only to send the messages you signed up for. Your mobile opt-in information and consent are not sold, and are not shared with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. We only share it with the service providers that deliver the texts on our behalf, strictly to make that delivery happen. See our Texting Terms for how the program works and how to stop.
Your choices
You can opt out of emails or texts anytime from your dashboard, or reply STOP to any text to cancel. You can also ask us to remove your information entirely.
